Ms. Eva Mae Davis Dean, 97, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 in her home.
Eva was born in Hoke County on April 3, 1918 to the late Eddie and Sinabell Stevens Jordan. She is preceded in death by her husbands, W.M. Davis and Roy L. Dean, sons, William Donald Davis and David W. Davis, and a daughter-in-law, Lorena Davis. Eva was a homemaker and loved her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by a son, Sherman Davis Sr. of Fayetteville; daughters, Shirley Miller and her husband Myrl Miller of Fayetteville and Billie Kennedy of Fayetteville; daughter-in-laws, Bonnie Davis of Parkton and Betty Davis of Fayetteville; 12 grandchildren and many great, great great and great great great grandchildren
Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 3219 Lindsey Rd. Raeford, NC 28376
Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM following the visitation with Pastor Tommy Underwood officiating.
Burial will be in Sandy Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Raeford.
