Elizabeth Esther Victor

Missionary Elizabeth Esther Victor, aged 77 years resident of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday April 20th 2023, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Elizabeth was born in Secunderabad, Telangana, India on July 8th 1945 to the late Rev J John Jannu and Anna Matilda Jannu. Her late husband was David Victor Akunoori.

Elizabeth Victor came to the United States on July 21st 2000, as a missionary from India. Her witness of Jesus the Messiah, has brought many to the Lord during the 22 years of her living in the United States. She was a congregate of Celebration of Praise for 12 years serving as a greeter to everyone who came through the doors. Elizabeth has always cared for children in her capacity as an assistant of Burns Day care and supported the Church of God, Childrens home with her prayers and finances. Elizabeth was a dedicated wife, a loving mother to four beautiful children. She was active in the community and dedicated her life to the service of the Lord.

She is survived by her four children, James Akunoori and his wife Dawn Akunoori, Laura Purnima Akunoori and husband Ashok Kumar Mallepuvulla, Matilda Shamanthakamani Aska, John Sangeeth Akunoori and her grandchildren, Avinash Mallepuvulla and his wife Nikitha Leena, Akshay Mallepuvulla and Apuroopa Aska and her only great grandchild Ethan Adit.

She is also survived by her niece Dr. Ann Sharon Jannu, grandniece, Vindhya Miller with her husband Brandon Miller and their children Naomi Matilda Miller, Ezra Nolan Miller and grandnephew, Sravan Rajamani.

Funeral Services will be held at 2.00 pm on Saturday, April 22nd, 2023 at Celebration of Praise Church of God, 4944 Fayetteville Rd, Raeford, NC 283376, Officiated by Pastor Jerry Edge.

Burial will follow the service at Cross Creek Cemetery at 602 Ann St. Fayetteville, NC 28301.
