Dr. Arthur Lee Ellis

Dr. Arthur Lee Ellis, 85, of Fort Liberty, NC passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024 in his home.

Arthur was born in Greene County, NC. on August 31, 1938 to the late Maggie King and Fredrick Douglas Ellis. He made a living in the United States Army and retired as a Sergeant First Class after 23 years of service. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Dr. Ellis is preceded in death by one brother, Bill Ellis and four sisters, Annie Ruth Richardson, Dorothy Ellis, Willie Mae Best and Nanora Ellis.

He is survived by his children, Katyna Juliette Fisher of Rocky Mount, NC; Terry Ellis of Sharpsburg, NC and Tony Ellis of Wilson, NC; a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other family and friends.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 26, 2024 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery 8220 Bragg Blvd. Fort Liberty, NC.

Interment will follow.
