Mrs. Dorothea Ursula Ruth Tyndall died Friday May 3, 2013 in Cape Fear Valley Hospital at the age of 82.
Mrs. Tyndall was born in Grenzhammer, Schlesien on February 17, 1931 to the late Johannes Lontzek and Agnes Hentschel Lontzek. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kelly Tyndall.
Survivors include her sons, Michael George Tyndall of Germany, Peter Andrew Tyndall of Fayetteville; her daughters, Rebecca Long and her husband Charles of Fayetteville, Ursula Ruth Tyndall of Bladenboro; her sisters, Christine Marinaccio, Anni Pfan, and Eva Lonzek all of Germany; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, May 6 th at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Road, Fayetteville.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7 th at Harvest Baptist Church, 5504 McPhail Street in Hope Mills with Pastors E. Norwood Tadlock, Jr and Jimmy Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
