Retired SFC David Charles Keller Sr., 54, died Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Cape Fear Valley Hospital.

Mr. Keller was born on December 6, 1958 in Patchogue, NY to the late William Keller Jr. and Carol Harkness. After retiring from the US Army in 2003, he went to work as a sergeant with the Harnett County Correctional Institution. He was also a squad leader on the Department of Public Safety Adult Prison Emergency Response Team. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents and his stepmother, Joyce Keller.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife LuLu Keller of the home; children, Cindy and Dan Ferguson of Durham, NC, Tammy Keller of Fayetteville, NC, Kristy and Bob Wolter of Livonia, NY, David Jr. and Mari Keller of Stafford, VA, Luis and Dana Fermin of Fayetteville, NC and their families; six brothers, Billy Keller, Fred Keller, Larry Keller, Christopher Keller, Scott Harrell and Bobby Gorman; three sisters Pat Keller, Dot Phillips and Carole Giles; twelve grandchildren, Victoria, Jay, Elizabeth, Brittney, Brianna, Alaina, Kailyn, Miguel, Anadely, Alecia, Louie and Abbi.

Visitation will be 3:00-6:00 PM Tuesday, April 9, 2013 and 6:00-9:00 PM Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at LaFayette Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6651 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.

Graveside services with Full Military Honors will be 12:00 Noon Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 400 Murchison Road Spring Lake, NC 28390

After the Graveside Service, the family will meet for lunch at the Beauty Spot Baptist Church located at 7572 Raeford Road, Fayetteveille.
