Cory Stewart Anderson Sr.

Cory S. Anderson, 41, son of Inez Anderson and the late Wilbur L. Anderson Sr. was born on April 24, 1975 in Savannah, GA. He passed away on December 20, 2016 in Aberdeen, NC.

Cory was raised in New Britain, CT. where he formed his roots and family values. He married Stephanie Roraback and together they had four children. He served as a parachute rigger in the US Army and loved his occupation. He retired after 6 years of service.

Cory was known for his humor, strength, determination, open and kind heart, and continuing the family tradition of making barbecue sauce, ‟Luther’s Legacy.”

Cory will forever be missed; however his legacy will live on! He leaves to mourn his fond memories; his wife, Stephanie Anderson; four children, Nadia, Aniyah, Cory Jr. and Arianna; his mother, Inez Anderson of New Britian, CT; siblings, Wilbur L. Anderson Jr. and Brandy Bennett; niece, Kayla-Marie; nephews, Duane and Alec, and a host of other family members.

A service will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in North Carolina at Christ’s Way Community Church, 15767 US Hwy 15-501 S. Aberdeen, NC 28315 with pastor Gentry Winfield officiating.

Further services with Full Military Honors will be held 3:00 PM Friday December 30, 2016 in Connecticut at Spottswood A.M.E. Zion Church, 25 Crestwood Lane, New Britain, CT 06053.
