Consuelo "Connie" Theresa Evans

Consuelo Theresa Evans, 56, of Bronx, New York passed away on October 18, 2024 at Calvary Hospital. 

She was born in Harlem, Manhattan on July 27, 1968 to the late Gustave Civil and Pearlie Mae Blue. She worked as a sergeant for the Transit Authority – City of New York. 

She is survived by sons, Mark Evans of Mount Vernon, NY and Kimani Peters of Bronx, NY; grandson, Josiah Peters of Bronx, NY; her unborn granddaughter, Miracle Evans of Mount Vernon, NY; brothers, Clifford Civil and Eldred Civil (Elliot), both of NYC, NY, Kevin Civil of New Jersey, and Lewis Evans (Roosevelt) of Fayetteville, NC; sisters, Carla Evans of Bronx, NY, Jewel Dickerson and Golderina Venson, both of New Jersey; stepfather Ira Roberts of Fayetteville, NC; uncle, James Blue of Fayetteville, NC; and a host of nieces, grand nieces, nephews, grand nephews, and friends. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers Strebor Roberts and Morris Evans. 

Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 26, 2024 at LaFayette Memorial Park West, 6701 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
