Mr. Charles Homer Towe, 56, died Saturday, August 31, 2013 in his home.

Mr. Charles "Motown" Towe was born on March 23, 1957 in Brooklyn, New York. He departed this life on August 31, 2013. Charles received his formal education through the Brooklyn, N.Y.Public School System. He was a talented man far as being a truck driver, a meat butchery and thebest of them all a DJ. No matter what job he held his passion for music was his life and it never left his side for a second.

In 2003, Charles relocated to North Carolina where he became a member of "The Grace Baptist Church". He was a blessed person, right along with loving and beautiful in and out. He was always there when you needed him. As a member of the church he taught the bible to the blind
and every Wednesday he would bake a cake for Bible Study. Charles was preceded in death by his mother Estella Fenner, his father Cecil Towe and his only sister Donna Towe, all whom from Brooklyn, NY.

Charles leaves to rejoice in his loving memories his wife Barbara Towe of Fayetteville; one son, Marcus Eley of Brooklyn, NY; two daughters, Wanda Eley McLaughlin of Fayetteville, NC and Rachelle Eley of Brooklyn, NY; one step-daughter, Christine Glover of Fayetteville, NC; His everlasting friendship with his two best friends, Leland Jones and Joe Griffin both from Brooklyn, NY. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews; grandchildren, great grandchildren and special cousins, relatives and friends and a wonderful loving church family, The Grace Baptist Church of Fayetteville, NC.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Monday, September 9, 2013 at Grace Baptist Church, 3901Raeford Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28304. Funeral Services will begin at 7:00 pm at the church withPastor Nicholas Rich officiating.
