Mrs. Carolyn Moffett, 68, of Fayetteville passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 in her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Carolyn was born August 28, 1944 in Portsmouth, VA to the late Charlie and Freda Alice Jones Williams. She was in Service Management in her early years before becoming a full time homemaker. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walton M. Moffett Sr. and her sons, Victor M. Snipes and Mark Anthony. She loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Walton M. Moffett Jr. of Charlotte, NC, James Harvey Snipes of Jamestown, NC (Robin) and James Artis Snipes of Burlington, NC (Andrea); daughters, Despina M. Parker of Chesapeake, VA and Fotini R. Nixon of Fayetteville, NC (Kenneth Sr.); sister, Ruth Jenkins of Fredericksburg, VA; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service of celebration will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 5716 Bibar Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304 with her daughter, Pastor Despina M. Parker officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
