Mrs. Carla Faye Davis, 76, of Parkton entered her Heavenly Home Wednesday, December 24, 2014 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Carla was born in Brunswick County, NC on September 18, 1938 to the late Thomas and Lillie Mae Danford Beck. She was a member of Green Springs Baptist Church and was a friend to all. Carla was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Thomas Stuart Davis and a brother, Sterling Beck.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph “Bob” Davis of the home; 2 sons, Joseph Brent Davis and his wife, Brenda of Lake Wylie, SC and Robert Gregory Davis and his wife Laurie of Robbins, NC; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sharon Davis of Hope Mills.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM-1:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Green Springs Baptist Church, 1095 East Green Springs Rd., Parkton, NC 28371.
Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 PM following the visitation with Pastor Jeff Broadwell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
