Mr. Cameron Javon Emery, better known as, Cam -O-, was born on September 24,2003 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina to his proud and loving parents, Johnnie Jenkins and Milissa Emery.

“To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born and a time to die; and a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what has been planted. On March 21, 2020 God in his infinite wisdom took Cameron from rest to reward.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

Cameron was a current student at South View High School as a profound and intelligent student.  Cameron was well known for his musical gifts and even spent time in the studio and making videos. To know him was to know that the Tarheels was his team and Tom Brady and  Labrn James was his mentor and his prodigy. The All American New England Football team was his life the spark to see them play gathered with his family and friends on game nights was epic.

Walking down heaven’s highway and approaching Heaven’s Gates in unity is his uncle Franklin “ Allen” Monroe . Awaiting their arrival around Heavens Throne his grandfather Johnnie Jenkins Sr, loving aunt, April Tew.

He leaves  a wealth of wonderful memories to be cherished by  his loving parents, Johnnie Jenkins, Milissa Emery (Keith Thomas); seven  sisters, Chrisdeona, Alanna, Alessia, Keynadia, Naudia, Alyah, Samharra; six brothers Levi, Desmon, Josiah, Brandon, Rayshon, and Tristan his grandparents Franklin and Yvonne Monroe; fraternal grandmother Colleen Petersen. Additional grand parents Keith Thomas Sr.  and Estella Thomas , Six aunts Shaquna Jenkins, Johnnicu Jenkins, Kayla Jenkins, Shayla Jenkins, Louanna L Cordova, Crystal Thomas ; five uncles Anthony Soto, Orlando Fitzhugh, Kevin Thomas and Troy Thomas, Brad Emery and Nytrel Bellamy.

“Family is not only whose blood you carry;  it's who you love and who loves you back, and blood can never make us any closer.” To my extended family, Orlando, Tray , Kayshon, Nick, Kris, James, Flex, Johnathan, Ladaryl and Damion.
