Ms. Betty Louise Peele, 83, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, October 15, 2015 in her home surrounded by her family.
Betty was born in Guilford County on January 2, 1932 to the late Albert and Flossie Sizemore Hicks. She worked as a Pattern Designer with Wrangler before retiring and was a member of Providence Friends Meeting Church in Randleman. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Peele.
Betty is survived by her children, Jimmy Peele (Quinell) of Fayetteville, Bob Peele (Pam) of Hubert, Nancy Ashcraft (Scott) of Conway, SC and Brenda Llewellyn (Joe) of Waxhaw; 15 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 16, 2015 at Gilmore Memorial Park, 6504 Liberty Rd,
Julian, NC 27283 with Pastor Larry McIntire officiating.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the Peele family in care of LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
