Mrs. Betty Lou Mason McLeod, 73, passed away Tuesday August 20, 2013 in Cape Fear Valley Hospital.
Betty was born in Harnett County, NC on October 8, 1939 to the late Harvey and Bertha Porter Mason. She worked and retired from Black and Decker. Preceding her in death are her husband, Talmage McLeod, her son, Kenneth McLeod, 2 brothers and a sister. Betty loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by a son, Keith McLeod of Fayetteville; 4 grandchildren, Danielle Page of Stedman, Sara Taylor of Stedman, Jamie McLeod of Fayetteville and Wayne McLeod of Stedman; 2 great grandchildren, Paul Page and Seth Blackwell both of Stedman, Many Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be 11:00 am -12:00 noon Saturday, August 24, 2013 at LaFayette Funeral Home 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, August 24, 2013 following the visitation at the Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Morgan officiating.
Burial will follow the service at the Strickland Family Cemetery in Falcon, NC.
