Bernice (Townsend) Brown

Ms. Bernice Townsend Brown, 93, of Fayetteville, NC, went to be with the Lord Friday, January 14, 2022. Bernice was born November 23rd, 1928, daughter of Willie Floyd Townsend and Florrie Benton, who preceded her in death. Bernice is also preceded in death by her son David Warren Brown.

Ms. Bernice was a home maker, and lived her life supporting and loving her family. She was a dutiful mother and sought to provide for her family.

Ms. Bernice is survived by her two sons, Leslie Lamont Brown and his wife Debbie of Fayetteville, NC, Russell Eugene Brown and his wife Brenda of Hope Mills, NC; one daughter, Wanda Brown Scott and her husband Edward, of Hope Mills, NC, and a host of loving extended family and friends.

A private visitation will be held at Lafayette Funeral home prior to the service. A graveside service will be conducted at Cumberland Memorial Gardens on Wednesday January 19, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Minister James Blount officiating.
