Ms. Beatrice Alice Lucas, 90, of Fayetteville died December 29, 2013 in Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton
Ms. Lucas was born in Hoke County, NC on June 29, 1923 to the late Walter and Lula Jackson. She worked as a seamstress. Preceding her in death is her husband Lacy Lucas and Her son John E. Emanuel.
Left to cherish her memories are her sisters Helen Locklear (Roscoe), of Fayetteville, Martha Lee Locklear of Laurinburg, and Madie Locklear of Maxton; a special niece, Carolyn Locklear; a special nephew, Tyson Locklear and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation for the family will be Sunday, January 5, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Macedonia Holiness Church, 207 Indian Drive Fayetteville, NC 28312.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Macedonia Holiness Church with Reverends Ken Simmons and Stoney Locklear officiating.
Burial will follow at Little Mission Holiness Church Cemetery, 18601 Airbase Rd Laurinburg, NC 28352.
