Anita Ann (Robertson) Suitt

Anita Ann Suitt, 83, of Hope Mills passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024 in Village Green Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Anita was born in Person County, NC on May 6, 1941, daughter to the late Melvin T. Robertson and Bernice Perkins Robertson. Together with her beloved husband John, she owned & operated retail stores around the Cumberland County area. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Preston Suitt and her brother, Rev. Tommy Robertson. Anita will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Derek Suitt (Kim), and daughter, Rhonda White (Charlie); grandchildren, Chase Suitt (Lindsey), Zach White (Nicole), Keely Wheatle (Kadiem) and Morgan Suitt (Alyssa); great grandchildren, Charleston White, Nash White, Xander Wheatle, Xane Wheatle, Tyndall Suitt and a host extended family members.

Graveside services will be 12:00 noon, Monday, July 29, 2024 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Terry Dooley officiating.
