Alice "Faye" (Solomon) Wise

Mrs. Alice “Faye” Solomon Wise, 72, died peacefully in her home on Monday, July 13, 2015 with family by her side.

Faye was born on August 30, 1942 to Owen Henry Solomon and Elda Watson Solomon at Pittman’s Hospital in Fayetteville, NC. She retired from a career of bookkeeping from Carolina Services.

She learned to play the piano at an early age and has been playing for the Lord ever since.

She was one of the original members of the Gospel Keys Quartet and had the privilege of serving as President of the Pearce’s Mills Ladies Auxiliary and was so blessed to have been an active member of Massey Hill Baptist Church where she was the pianist and the President of the Young at Heart Group. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-son, Billy Wise Jr.

Faye is survived by her husband Billy Wise; a brother, Owen Solomon (Helen); son, Eddie Jackson (Darlene); daughters and step-daughters, Carla Blue, Janet Replogle, Tammy Smith (Larry), Sandra Osborne (Tom) and Karen Lewis (Bert); and they blessed Her with 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Massey Hill Baptist Church, 1027 Southern Ave. Fayetteville, NC 28306.

A Celebration of Life Service will follow the visitation at the Church at12:00 noon with Pastor Tim Evans officiating.

Burial will follow at the Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street in Fayetteville.
