Retired SFC Alan Leeland Pfeilstucker, 72, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015 in his home.
Alan was born in Portage, PA on August 31, 1943 to the late Albert and Sylvia Moyer Pfeilstucker. He retired from the US Army in 1985 and remained in Germany with his wife until 2005. He loved his family, hunting, fishing and his animals and will be greatly missed. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings, Anita, Thea, Michael, Colleen and Kay.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Renate Pfeilstucker of Raeford; a daughter, Samantha Louise Thomas and husband Larry of Raeford; a granddaughter, Alexis Thomas of Raeford; brothers Patrick Pfeilstucker (Rose) and Danny Pfeilstucker (Sandi), all of Portage, PA; sisters, Jackie Kunko (Bob) and Kathleen Richardson (Bruce), all of Portage, PA.
Memorial Services with Full Military Honors will be held 2:00 PM Saturday January 9, 2015 at LaFayette Funeral Home 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
