Ahmed Morales Lopez

Ahmed Morales Lopez, 69, of Fayetteville, NC passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 in FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Ahmed was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico on March 20, 1954 son to the late Miguel Morales Ruiz and Celina Lopez Araut. Mr. Lopez enjoyed playing Dominos with friends and family, watch Cowboy movies and shows, and loved doing Construction, which he also taught his sons how to do. He also enjoyed going to Church and listening to the Word of God. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

He is survived by his three sons, Ahmed Morales Diaz and his wife Iris Agosto, of Raeford, NC; Luis Morales Diaz and wife Ketcha Ortiz, of Puerto Rico; Julio A. Morales Montes, of Puerto Rico; two daughters, Astrid A. Morales Diaz, of Puerto Rico; Ahmedry Morales Aponte of Puerto Rico; his brothers Reynaldo Morales Lopez, Miguel Morales Lopez, Noel Morales Lopez, Edwin Morales Lopez, Eliezer Morales Lopez; and sisters, Yolanda Morales Lopez, Lourdes Morales Lopez, Gladys Morales Lopez; four granddaughters, Siris G. Morales Agosto, Ahmeris S. Morales Agosto, Shadelys D. Morales Agosto, Isadora V. Morales Ortiz;  four grandsons, Luis J. Morales Ortiz, Jeremy A. Morales Ortiz, Gerald D. Toledo Morales, Jareld D. Toledo Morales; three great grandchildren, Delianys G. Morales, Adrian G. Morales, Jordan Y. MClauglin and a host of extended family members and friends.

The Family will receive friends 12:00 Noon – 9:00 PM Friday, May 26, 2023 at LaFayette Funeral Home located at 6651 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 6:00 PM with Pastor Ahmed Morales Diaz officiating.

The family will gather 12:00 Noon Saturday, May 27, 2023 at LaFayette Funeral Home and will proceed to Raeford City Cemetery located 975 US-401 BUS, Raeford, NC 28376 for a 2:00 PM Graveside Service.
