SPC Issiah ‟Zae Bo” Thill, 24 of Red Springs, NC, passed away June 20, 2021.
SPC Thill was born on May 20, 1997 in Guilford, NC. He enlisted in the United States Army on August 9, 2016 as a Food Service Specialist.
SPC Thill’s awards and decorations include the Army Achievement Medals (w/ C), Army Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, the Army Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd Award), and the Expert Marksmanships Badge (w/ Rifle Bar).
He is survived by his father, Brad Thill, and his mother, Leslie Guyer, five brothers, Antonio Thill, Jordan Thill, Dustin Thill, Camron Thill, and Matthew Benson; a sister, Nicole Newby, and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members to include Ricky and Vicki Baggett and Regina Bullard.
“Zae Bo” was preceded in death by a sister, Hannah Lockhart.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Ave. Raeford, NC 28306.
Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 Noon following the visitation with Brother Tommy Guyer officiating.
Interment will follow the service at South Hoke Baptist Church Cemetery, 4205 Old Maxton Rd. Red Springs, NC 28377.
‟Zae Bo” loved everyone and he was at peace. His main mission in life was to help as many people as he could.
