Gloria Jean (Mccullough) Adams

Gloria Jean McCullough Adams, 78, passed to the arms of Jesus Thursday, December 5, 2019 surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Gloria was born on January 9, 1941 to Samuel and Susie McCullough. Gloria accepted Christ early in life and was faithful to his word until he called her home. She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Susie McCullough, her first husband Benny Davis Jr, a son, Lee Adams Jr, a grandson, Chukwuemeka Okehi, four sisters, Lelia McCullough Bass, Magnolia McCullough Greene, Susie McCullough Cargill and Essie B McCullough, five brothers, Sentell McCullough Sr, Sam McCullough Jr, Christopher McCullough Sr, David McCullough Sr, and Willie Joe McCullough.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Adams Sr.; two daughters, Sharan (Chukwuemeka) Okehi and Chanel (Bascom) Culver; three sons, Benny (Theresa) Davis III, Keyatta Adams and Patrick Adams; eighteen grandchildren, Ijester Abner, Jazmen Abner, Benny Davis, Ranquise Davis, Skye Culver, Tierra Davis, Anthony Davis, Kelechi Okehi, Antonio Harriel, Aaliyah Davis,Theresa McCullough Luster, Patrick McCullough, Jasmine Hixon, Dariana Bronson, Bunny (Ray) Stith, Marques Davis, D'Araia Nevillsand Rhyan Lynch, six great grandchildren Mia'Leigh Gonzales Jusiah Davis, Kennedy Culver, Messiah Jones Jr, Jill Luster and Caylee Luster; three sisters Geraldine (Willie) McCullough Woods, Mary Lillian (Edward) McCullough Fuller, and Erline McCullough Simmons; one brother, Anthony (Alberther) McCullough; a devoted son-in-law Chukwuemeka Okehi; seven devoted nieces, Lesia Bass, Linda Cargill, Quebe Sprouse, Annie Robinson, Mary Mangum, Jacqueline Bridges and Valerie Simmons; a devoted god daughter, Roslyn Stanley; a devoted best friend, Jennifer Binford Brown Bell and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM -12:00 Noon Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 220 East 4th Ave. Red Springs, NC 28377.

Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 Noon following the visitation with Reverend Edward Edwards officiating.
