Emma Nolasco Rosado

June 18, 1934- January 25, 2024.

Our dear mother Emma Nolasco Rosado sadly passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 89 after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Puerto Rico, New York, and North Carolina.

She was predeceased by her husband Juan Anibal Juarbe and is survived by her sister Carmen Luisa Nolasco, Diana Ruiz & Maritza Medina -Daughters-, Danitza Juarbe & Josie Hernandez- granddaughters, along with Miledys Martinez; Orlando Rodriguez, nephew; Gilberto Medina, son in law.

Emma completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and worked for many years in Insurance and Banking marketplace. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to our sweet-tempered Emma. She loved helping others, walking, and a quiet evening with friends and family. She was a woman of profound wisdom, an anchor for the whole family.  She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met.

If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the memorial service we are holding in her honor, 12:00 PM January 30, 2024 at Lafayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304, officiated by Dr. Gilberto Medina.

Burial will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park West, 6701 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
